How Do You Label Essential Oil Bottles?

Making your own Essential Oil blends is fun and exciting, but I've found that if I don't label it I easily forget which oil blend is which.  I got cute little round white stickers to put on the top of the dram bottles to write the oil name on it.  I've used pen and sharpie to write on the stickers but the ink eventually fades off due to the oil residues on my hands (see the round labels on the left).   So I started looking for another way.

My sister had given me a label maker for my birthday a few years ago and I decided to try it on my oil bottles and it works AMAZINGLY!!!  The labels not only stand up to water but oils too. The labels are great for when I reuse my empty bottles to make a homemade blend. My label maker is old, but I found a similar model by Brother that can make the same size labels. Check out this new P-Touch Label Maker by Brother that also has a DECO Mode that prints the words in small fonts and on two lines, which is to be the perfect size to label my little drams that I carry on my key chain.

So take your little drams that come in your Premium Starter Kit or your Basic Starter Kit and start mixing up some fun blends or use your dram bottles to dilute the oils that come in the Starter Kit that need to be diluted before applying topically.   Make sure that you use the DECO Mode to print up your label with two lines so that it is small enough to fit on your cute little bottles.  Cut it down to size and throw a label on that will stay!~
