One thing I learned years ago in at an internship was that sometimes pushing harder just gets you more stuck in the mud. Sometimes it's that way with kids too. Ours were especially restless today and so we changed the plans and headed out to our favorite playground and let the kids run themselves silly for about an hour. It felt great for the kids and rejuvenating for my sweetie and I too.

Sometimes Pushing Harder, Just Gets You More Stuck in the Mud
One thing I learned years ago in at an internship was that sometimes pushing harder just gets you more stuck in the mud. Sometimes it's that way with kids too. Ours were especially restless today and so we changed the plans and headed out to our favorite playground and let the kids run themselves silly for about an hour. It felt great for the kids and rejuvenating for my sweetie and I too.
