White Peach Fruit Leather

I got tons of white peaches and I had to find something else to make out of them to preserve them. So White Peach Fruit Leather is my latest recipe.  And everyone is loving it!! The white peaches make great fruit leather with their subtle sweet flavor.  One batch I added some cinnamon too.  It tasted great!!  My friend let me barrow her food dehydrator and so I used the trays that came with the dehydrator for three trays and parchment for one tray.  The parchment dried out faster and was easier to remove.  I realized that if I'm going to use the trays again I need to spray it with some cooking spray first.  However, the parchment is my preferred method because I could just cut it and roll it up ready to store.   I also realized that I needed to pour the puree about twice as thick as I did.  I put it in the dehydrator in the afternoon in my warm, dry garage and by morning it was over done.  It took much less time than I expected, but this will depend on the climate.  Still tasted great and some good lessons learned for next time.  I'm also excited because my sweet sister gave me a steam canner for my birthday.  Can't wait to start trying that out!!!!
